Courageous Doing: Yoga
Early on we did a project named Courageous Doing. The purpose of this project was to try something that you had never tried before for two weeks and with each try, get feedback and go deeper into it. For mine, I tried yoga, specifically for stress relief. I began with learning a few basic breaths. Then, I learned a few basic poses. Lastly, I made a series, which is what is typically done in a yoga class, which included the poses and the breaths that I learned. Throughout the 2 week period of this project I felt my stress severely lower and I felt much more awake and energetic.
Since this project, I have done some yoga in my off time, especially when I'm tired and stressed.
